Light care (£49/mo): Up to about 45 minutes of small content updates, a quick site check, and priority for minor changes. Ask under contact if you want either option.
Project basics (timeline, domain, deposit…)
How long?
Often live in under two weeks once we have deposit, a clear brief and your content. We move fast on fixed-scope sites. Delays usually wait on copy, photos or feedback. Brand + website or complex rebuilds can take longer; your quote confirms the plan.
How do I pay?
50% deposit to start (Stripe link or invoice after you accept a written quote), balance before launch. No open self-serve checkout for custom sites.
Who owns the domain?
You buy and own your domain and hosting in your name, so you’re not locked in if you ever move. We recommend simple options and send a step-by-step guide, then connect everything at launch. Fees are paid to the provider, not included in the build. Optional: domain & hosting setup from £75 (domain fee to the registrar, or reimbursed if we buy it for you).
Who provides photos and text?
You supply photos and rough text by default (phone photos are fine). If you don’t have suitable images, we can source or create professional ones and add them to the quote. Copywriting is also available when listed.
What happens after launch?
After launch: small updates £45/hour (30-min minimum), or optional light care £49/month. Bigger changes are quoted separately. The build price does not include unlimited free edits.

How much does a website cost?

Could I just build it myself?
Yes. Plenty of people start that way. The difference is having someone design it for your business, make it work on a phone, set it up so Google can find you, and take it from quote to launch. You own the files and the domain. One-page from £575 founding, then from £700.
How does payment work?
Written quote first. You accept, then pay 50% deposit by Stripe or invoice. Balance before launch. Card details go on Stripe’s pages only. We never ask for full card numbers by email.
How long does it take?

What’s included?

Who buys domain and hosting?
You do, in your name. That way you’re not locked in — if you ever leave, the web address and the site still belong to you. Fees go to the provider, not us. We send a simple guide and connect everything at launch. Optional setup help from £75.
Do you use templates?
No. Each site is designed and built for your business, scoped in your quote, not a rented theme with a new logo.
Who provides photos and text?
You do by default (phone photos are fine). We place and polish them. Need images or copywriting from us? We can add that to the quote.
Can you update the site later?
Yes. Small changes are £45 per hour (30-minute minimum). Optional light care is £49 per month if you want ongoing help. Bigger work is quoted separately. Always written before we start.
